Channel Partner Program Roundup: Abila, RF Code, PernixData

Happy Thursday everyone! We’re glad you found your way back to the roundup for another weekly dose of channel partner goodness. This week we’ve got the latest stories from Abila, RF Code and PernixData.

Abila: Software and service provider Abila is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its Certified Consultant Program this week, with the company reporting its business partners have completed more than 6,300 hours of classroom certification training.

Abila Business Partners are required to maintain at least one Certified Consultant for each authorized product line, with each consultant required to renew their certification every year, according to the announcement. Certified Consultants completed more than 900 training hours in 2014, the company noted.

“We believe we have the most well-educated and experienced channel in the market; our business partners not only know our products, they understand the unique needs of nonprofits and government entities,” said Krista Endsley, Abila’s CEO, in a statement. “We spend a significant amount of time training and re-certifying our business partners every year, because our customers deserve to work with trusted advisors who understand their needs."

RF Code: Internet of Things solutions provider RF Code has appointed industry veteran Ron Leon as it looks to develop its portfolio of national and global partners selling the company’s data center solutions.

In his new role Leon will help launch RF Code’s new channel programs and help bring the company’s software and sensors to market with new partners, according to the announcement.

“Ron‘s experience is exactly what we need to keep the sales momentum growing through our existing and soon-to-be recruited partners,” said Richard Jenkins, vice president of Worldwide Marketing and Business Development at RF Code. “We have done a lot of work to develop the next generation of sensors and software for today’s data centers and the success our customers enjoy is something every technology reseller wants to benefit from. Ron looks forward to this amazing challenge.”

PernixData: Server-side storage intelligence provider PernixData has become a certified technology partner in Dell’s Technology Partner Program, with its FVP software certified on Dell’s PowerEdge Servers and Dell Storage.

“We are thrilled to be aligned with a market leader in the server and storage space who is committed to bringing future-ready data center architectures to market,” said Mike Arterbury, vice president of Business Development at PernixData. “PernixData and Dell have proven the value of decoupled storage, showing how easy, cost effective, and non-disruptive it can be to solve VM performance challenges in virtualized data centers.”

PernixData’s FVP software is available through Dell’s Software and Peripherals Program. The company also added Dell PowerEdge Servers and Dell Storage to its PernixData Proven Design program, which provides reference architecture, design guides and other solution briefs to help customers deploy the company’s solutions, according to the announcement.

That’s all for now, folks. As always, thanks for stopping by, and we hope to see you back here next week. Until then, stay safe out there.
