BuyCell Wireless Group Inc., a buying group of Verizon Wireless independent agents, announced it has renewed its exclusive purchasing and logistics contract with Brightstar Corp.

Brightstar will continue to be the exclusive provider of product distribution and supply chain solutions for Verizon Wireless handsets, smartphones and data cards to BuyCell’s premier independent retailers operating across 41 states. Collectively, BuyCell members represent annual sales of more than 1.6 million Verizon Wireless devices.

The BuyCell Group and Brightstar initially began their partnership in July 2005. Brightstar was named an authorized distributor by Verizon Wireless in 2004, and continues to support the entire indirect channel via this agreement.
