BCN is collaborating with Ethernet and broadband provider Wave Business.

The companies announced a partnership Wednesday that gives BCN partners full access to the Wave portfolio. Wave’s broadband internet and Ethernet access solutions join a growing BCN portfolio that includes voice, managed equipment and monitoring services, and SD-WAN.

BCN has been stocking up on broadband resources. Partnerships with cable companies like Altice USA and Suddenlink have given multisite BCN customers numerous connectivity options.

“The aggregation of broadband services continues to be an important driver in BCN’s ability to help our sales partners solve the needs of multilocation customers,” said Michael Ginsburg, BCN VP of sales. “The type of increased coverage the Wave partnership delivers takes that to another level in key geographies.”

TPG Capital, which already owned RCN Telecom Services and Grande Communications, acquired Wave Broadband a little more than a year ago. TPG then combined the three businesses to form Wave Business, which claims to be America’s sixth largest cable operator. The combination has helped expand Wave’s network footprint to the Eastern U.S. and Texas. The company also appointed vice presidents of business solutions for multiple regions.

BCN last week expanded its partnership with MasterStream ERP. The agreement gave BCN partners a new quoting tool. The company teamed up with Canadian telecommunications giant Telus the previous week to help customers who have Canadian locations.
