Armis just launched a new partner program specifically for MSPs and managed detection and response providers (MDRs).

The Armis Partner Experience (APEX) Manage Program is an evolution of the APEX program that the company launched one year ago. It aims to elevate and enrich service providers with a modern approach to building cyber investigation, detection, threat hunting and remediation services across every asset in every environment.

Over the past year, the APEX program has grown significantly across the globe. The Armis channel now serves more than 100 countries worldwide. The company has trained and certified more than 2,000 sales and technical professionals since the program’s inception. That’s resulted in a 200% increase in partner-identified opportunities.

Service Provider Market Reaches Inflection Point

“We are experiencing an inflection point in the service provider market,” he said. “Most current tech stacks were established close to a decade ago with the last significant addition being the introduction of endpoint detection and response (EDR) technology to more closely analyze managed endpoint risks. Innovative service providers are now looking to address the massive wave of emerging risks from unmanaged devices which agent-based solutions like EDR cannot solve for.”

Here’s our most recent list of important channel-program changes you should know.

The APEX Manage program includes the full capabilities of the Armis platform, including asset vulnerability management (AVM) functionality, Creed said. In addition, Armis is introducing a multitenant workbench. It will allow for complete customer life-cycle management by service providers.

“We absolutely relied on MSPs and MDRs for input,” he said. “Our early adopter service-provider partners help shape everything from our APEX Manage partner certification program to validating the capabilities they prefer in the multitenant workbench we are introducing.”

Easier to Work with Armis

The program makes it easier for MSPs and MDRs to work with Armis, Creed said. The APEX Manage program provides a high level of flexibility when it comes to Armis licensing.

“In our program, either the customer or the partner can own the entitlements,” he said. “Additionally for technical support, Armis is requiring partners to handle tier 1 support only before engaging Armis.”

The Armis asset intelligence platform provides unified asset visibility and security across all asset types, including IT, IoT, OT, internet of medical things (IoMT), cloud and cellular IoT, managed or unmanaged. The Armis asset intelligence engine is tracking more than 3 billion devices, and growing.

Adrian Alonzo is practice director at TEKsystems Global Services.

“Our team is committed to proactively anticipating trends and creating solutions that enable enterprises to capitalize on change,” he said. “In the world of connected assets and cybersecurity, change is the only constant. We’re proud of our partnership with Armis, which enables us to combine our real-world expertise to solve the technology and business challenges that our clients are experiencing on a global scale.”
