Armis has launched a new program to help partners tap into the market opportunity of securing unmanaged IoT devices.

Armis created its new Partner Experience (APEX) program with simplicity in mind. A tiered program with multiple go-to-market options, APEX is flexible for channel partners, resellers, SIs and MSSPs, the company says.

Unmanaged IoT devices are estimated to make up between 80% and 90% of the average business environment by 2025. The APEX program provides access to Armis technology, skills and expertise. Therefore, partners can help their clients see every device in their environment and secure them all easily.

“The APEX program is a new program, not a refresh of the previous program,” he said. “Armis previously had a loose framework prior to the launch of APEX. With APEX, we have training and enablement, requirements and firm benefits in place.”

Areas of Expertise

APEX allows partners to thrive in their areas of expertise. Those areas can include IT, operational technology (OT), IoT, the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) or converged environments across any business sector.

The program assists partners in expanding to supplemental areas that help drive their go-to-market model. In addition, it rewards them accordingly through financial incentives, business development funds (BDFs) and enablement, along with increased sales and marketing or communication support.

Here’s our most recent list of important channel-program changes you should know.

“Growth and focus prompted our need for and the timing of APEX,” Mackie said. “We needed to be a channel-first company, not a company with a channel. We have experienced tremendous growth over the last 18 months. And we needed a program that would scale with us. We see that growth in all facets of our channel business, from VARs to technology alliances. The APEX program works to harness that growth in all of our different partnership types.”

Armis partners can take advantage of the Armis Device Knowledgebase as part of the Armis platform. It helps identify and classify digital assets accurately with the ability to remediate any issues at both the endpoint and network levels.

APEX Based On Partner Insight

“Everything we do is partner-focused,” Mackie said. “We took the insight from our partners over the last 18 months since we started engaging the partners and incorporated it all into APEX.”

Devanesan Moses is global head of IoT/OT sales at Check Point Software Technologies.

“For Armis to develop this new program, encompassing all of its different go-to-market routes, from VARs to OEMs like Check Point, is an indication of its dedication to the partner community as a primary route to market,” he said. “As the connected IoT devices explode, Check Point sees Armis as a natural complement to its own technology and we are excited to partner with Armis to see and secure everything.”
