ArcServe unveiled its new Partner Program this week, which promises to provide partners with an easier and faster road map to deliver its data protection services to customers.

The program, which debuted during Ingram Micro’s Spring ONE conference in Orlando, will feature an exclusive channel distribution strategy designed to help resellers receive support from ArcServe, according to the announcement. The program is expected to launch in North America first, with other geographies being added throughout 2015. No official launch date for the North American program was announced, however.

“As Arcserve is a 100 percent channel company, this program is designed to make it easy to do business with us while driving top-line and bottom-line results through lead generation assistance, accelerated deal transaction standards, and no cost technical and sales accreditation,” said Stephanie Nalick, senior director of North America Channel Sales at Arcserve, in a statement.

The new program is based on a standard three-tier system, with the company’s most profitable resellers occupying the platinum tier and entry-level partners seated in the silver tier. Additional features in the program include accelerated transaction time, lead generation assistance and sales, training and marketing support. Resellers will also have access to no cost technical and sales accreditation from pre-and post-sales through distribution, according to the announcement.

“We see tremendous potential in the North America market, and this Partner Program launch is simply the next step in Arcserve’s aggressive growth plan and another milestone in the execution of our strategy,” said Gerard Kubisiak, vice president of Worldwide Sales at Arcserve.

Last year, ArcServe split from parent company CA Technologies after it was purchased by Marlin Equity Partners for an unknown sum.

Since then, the company unveiled a backup and recovery appliance and named Ingram Micro (IM) as its exclusive distributor for North America.
