Airband Agent Channel Sales Double

CHANNEL PARTNERS Fixed-wireless company Airband Communications (Booth #3041) announced at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo that channel sales have doubled since January as a percentage of Airbands overall monthly sales. The channel program is Airbands fastest growing sales contributor and the company says its momentum continues to accelerate.

Airband says its Channel Program is growing rapidly because it provides agents and their customers with a broad range of scalable, flexible data and VoIP solutions delivered over its wholly owned fixed-wireless network, which can be deployed quickly so Airband can compensate agents faster.

Airband and Sparkplug Communications recently merged, creating the largest fixed-wireless provider for businesses in the U.S.  The combined company, Airband, provides a full suite of VoIP and data services in 17 markets, extending service coverage and product options for its agents. Airbands fixed-wireless network bypasses the local loop, creating what the company calls unparalleled cost and operational advantages for agents and their customers, which makes Airband an alternative to other telecom providers including traditional local exchange carriers.

Within its first 90 days as an Airband Master Agent, Telarus achieved success by adding fixed-wireless technology to its portfolio. Telarus, telecommunications master agent, chose to offer Airband services so its agents and business customers could benefit from rapidly deployed, flexible and reliable solutions at prices clients can afford.

Telarus is dedicated to serving our customers faster and more efficiently than anyone else in the industry, and Airbands capability of bypassing the local loop with their fixed-wireless network helps us to overcome long installation times and costly deployment for our partners clients,” said Lance Akins, vice president of sales for Telarus.  Airband has provided a unique solution for us and committed the resources and expertise to help us meet our partners customers needs.”

Total Carrier Solutions, a subagent of Telarus and full-service telecommunications provider, recently closed a deal to provide a national quick-serve restaurant (QSR) with Airbands VoIP and Internet access for 33 franchised locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth market.

Our client was looking for a service provider that can give their franchise locations Internet access and VoIP services that can generate immediate cost savings while keeping their current phones and phone system in place, with the ability to migrate their voice services to a hosted solution in the near future,” said Jeff Ott, president and CEO of Total Carrier Solutions.  Not only are we able to meet their telecom needs today, Airband gives us the ability to meet our clients future requirements with their full suite of VoIP solutions as their old equipment reaches end of life.”

Airband serves 17 markets across the U.S. including Atlanta; Austin, Texas; Baltimore; Dallas-Fort Worth; Des Moines, Iowa; Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Houston; Las Vegas; Los Angeles; Miami; Orange County, Calif; Philadelphia; Phoenix; San Antonio; San Diego and Washington, D.C.
