ActivTrak has a new global MSP program to help partners anticipate customers’ workforce productivity, and capitalize on the remote work growth trend. ActivTrak’s program will give help partners’ customers better see and understand their employees. The goal? To be more productive and operationally compliant, for instance. The program already has 25 MSPs in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.

In a recent survey of small and medium-size businesses with remote employees, nearly half (50%) ranked workforce productivity as their top concern. Then came security/compliance (19%) and collaboration and communication (13%). So this MSP program seeks to help partners deliver the technologies and services to address these concerns.

How It Works

ActivTrak split its MSP partner program into three levels based on total users under management. As partners advance tiers, they unlock additional benefits such as reduced subscription costs per license price. The program also includes access to ActivTrak’s new MSP Command Center. This is a single pane-of-glass management console that allows partners to deploy and manage multiple customer instances. For example, from the Command Center, MSPs can:

  • View and log into customer accounts via single sign-on (SSO).

  • Quickly investigate and address alerts and operational activities.

  • Drill into individual accounts to configure the application and troubleshoot issues.

  • Streamline billing and account management with up-to-date usage data.

“For us, the benefit is a combination of not only being able to deploy this as a monthly service to those who have bundled packages with us, but also those as an add-on, ad-hoc or ancillary service — providing them that flexibility of having a subscription-based model,” said Eric Gaffin, director of cybersecurity and compliance services, Advanced Technology Group. “That’s extremely important for a lot of our budget-sensitive customers. This applies especially in the healthcare community, where long-term budgetary commitment is something they just can’t do. So it’s something that we had a target for our customer base.”

Across industries, the move to remote work is increasing the need to gain better visibility into how work is getting done.

“ActivTrak helps us help our clients understand and manage the opportunities and the risks, optimize business processes, and identify patterns that lead to remote work success,” Gaffin continues. “Their cloud-based approach, flexible subscription model, and application control help us deliver immediate value to customers with outstanding service and support.”
