Juniper Networks has launched multiple offers that capitalize on recent acquisitions.

Juniper last October announced the acquisition of 128 Technology, an SD-WAN provider known for its Session Smart networking platform. The 128 acquisition came a year-and-a-half after Juniper bought Mist Systems, the provider of AI-driven WLAN. Juniper executives hailed both acquisitions as part of a move toward “user-centric, AI-driven WAN.”

The Sunnyvale, California-based vendor expanded its campus and branch networking portfolio while integrating those solutions with AI from Mist Systems. Juniper has built new integrations between Mist Systems’ capabilities and SD-WAN from 128.

First, WAN Assurance and Marvis Virtual Network Assistant from Mist will give Session Smart routers users better insight into WAN conditions. The virtual network assistant can troubleshoot SD-WAN environments using AI. Second, users can now onboard and configure Juniper’s SRX secure branch gateways with Mist AI. Third, the new EX4400 secure access switch uses Mist AI to troubleshoot and control wired access networks.

“Juniper is consistently recognized for our experience-first approach to networking, where AI-driven automation, insight and actions simplify operator experiences and optimize end-user experiences from client to cloud,” said Jeff Aaron, vice president of enterprise product marketing. “These latest product enhancements underscore our sustained commitment to executing on this vision, as well as our unique ability to rapidly deliver new solutions that drive real value to both customers and partners.”

Juniper named its new channel chief in January. Gordon Mackintosh, a former leader at Extreme Networks, now works as vice president of worldwide channel and virtual sales.

“The opportunity ahead for Juniper and its partners is vast, but to seize it, we must collaborate more effectively and move faster. Partners continue to be an integral part of Juniper’s growth strategy in all segments, and I’m truly excited to join the team to continue to create innovative strategies that help partners accelerate their business into the multicloud era,” Mackintosh said.

The company plans to add financial incentives and field readiness enablement resources, in addition to other changes. Juniper reportedly grew partner-led deal registration by 65% from 2019 to 2020.
