AlgoSec Security Management Suite 6.0 — developed to provide complete automation of network security policy — has been updated to include a new offering called ActiveChange, which automatically implements recommended rule changes for your firewall. Suite 6.0 also brings with it new support for PCI DDS 2.0 and instant visibility into devices that present security risks.

As if those new features weren’t enough, the latest version of AlgoSec Suite also integrates AlgoSec Firewall Analyzer, which — as the name implies — automates firewall, router and VPN audit and analysis. It works in conjunction with AlgoSec FireFlow, which automates the policy change process.

The VAR Guy sees potential anytime a company brings something to market that has the ability to save time and optimize a network. For companies struggling to keep up with network policies, such technology could be a real value-add (and therefore an easy market for the channel).
