Lacework partners now have access to its expanded global technology and solutions partner program, Lacework Accelerate.

The program brings cloud-first security to teams building on Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.

Accelerate helps MSSPs, VARs, SIs and OEMs build successful, profitable cloud security practices. Thus, partners gain access to technical, marketing and go-to-market (GTM) support.

In addition, technology partners build security throughout the application life cycle and DevOps workflows.

‘Tremendous’ Growth

“Over the last year, Lacework has seen tremendous growth as software teams struggle to implement and manage security in dynamic cloud environments,” she said. “We expanded the program to build integrations with the key technologies our customers use, as well as [to] establish relationships with select channel partners that add tangible long-term value to our customers.”

The software development life cycle requires tools to work together so customers can continuously improve their software, Mihaleva said.

“We developed our technical integrations and channel program based on customer and partner requests, along with emerging market trends such as the cloud marketplaces,” she said. “Our partners largely made the decision to invest in the Lacework relationship following feedback from marquee customers, who value the unmatched context and visibility offered by our cloud security platform.”

Cloud Builders and Security

Cloud builders consume security differently and the partner landscape is adjusting to this new dynamic, Mihaleva said.

Here’s our most recent list of important channel-program changes you should know.

“What we’ve seen is that customers, and the overall market, place emphasis on partners who can add tangible value outside of a traditional fulfillment function,” she said. “Furthermore, partners are looking to give their customers a technology edge in their cloud journey and value the opportunity to bundle services on top of the Lacework product suite. A number of our partners are looking to build [and] grow their MSSP practices, which prompted us to launch our MSSP program and position Lacework as the provider of choice for those partner offerings.”

Partners have made significant investments in their partnerships with Lacework, she said. They consider the company’s joint market proposition and GTM offering as clear differentiators.

“Outside of industry-leading margins and white-glove partner support, our partners value the unmatched architectural and technical differentiation of the Lacework cloud security platform, the ease of integration and our thought leadership in the space” Mihaleva said.

“Lacework is the only security platform that was truly built cloud-first, from the ground up,” said Brad Woodward, principal security architect at Observian, a Lacework MSSP partner. “They help us build trust and reduce costs associated with cloud security for our customers, as well as open new revenue streams for our business.”
