Top 100 Cloud Services Providers: Revenues Jump 37% to $15.7B

The Top 100 Cloud Services Providers — including companies and brands like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Office 365, Google Apps, Salesforce.com and Oracle Cloud — now generate more than $15.7 billion in cloud services revenues, up 37 percent from the previous year. Our latest Talkin’ Cloud 100 report, coming July 30, contains that data and plenty more. Here’s a preview.

This year’s Talkin’ Cloud 100 report features:

1. Cloud Services Providers: CSPs offer SaaS (software as a service), infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and/or PaaS (platform as a service) to partners/customers. Featured CSPs include Rackspace, Savvis and Terremark, among others.

2. Cloud Services Brokerages: CSBs, or cloud brokers, recommend and resell multiple cloud services to customers, and often integrate those services. Featured CSBs include Cloud Sherpas and SADA Systems, among others.

3. Cloud Services Aggregators: CSAs, or cloud aggregators, typically offer a portal that allows VARs and MSPs to source multiple third-party cloud services for customers. Featured CSAs include Ingram Micro Cloud, among others.

4. MSPs (Managed Service Providers) with cloud services expertise: Featured MSPs include mindSHIFT and EarthLink, among others.

5. VARs (value-added resellers) with cloud services expertise: Featured VARs include TekLinks (which also has MSP expertise), among others.
