TC 100 Profile: nGenx Pushes the Envelope With Technology
What does it take to be a cloud workspace market leader in today’s industry? NGenx, a cloud-based application delivery services company that ranked 76 on last year’s Talkin’ Cloud 100 list of the top 100 cloud services providers (CSPs), has been successful in this space because its team believes it has been “working in the cloud since before there was a cloud.”
The Evansville, Indiana-based company noted that it was “born as a service provider from service providers,” and as a result, recognizes what it takes to deliver value to its partners consistently. It always has tried to push the envelope with technology while working to build bridges between all of its technology partners, nGenx said, which is reflected in its nFinity Workspace solution.
NFinity Workspace is a fully integrated applications and desktop-as-a-service (DaaS) solution that “solves customer problems of backups, antivirus, bring-your-own-device (BYOD) enablement, data availability and security,” nGenx President JD Helms told Talkin’ Cloud.
Additionally, Helms pointed out that this solution enables his company to support independent software vendors (ISVs), managed service providers (MSPs), telecommunications service providers and value-added resellers (VARs).
“NFinity Workspace is also our foundational building block when partnering with ISVs to help them deploy their software in a cloud-based model,” he said. “When working with telcos and data center providers, we use our proprietary reference architecture to assist in the mass deployment and management of an nFinity Workspace in their existing infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) environments.”
What is nGenx?
Helms said nGenx has developed many of the solutions it provides and has focused on fostering customer relationships, which has helped the company gain a competitive advantage over its rivals.
For example, Helms said nGenx gives its white-label partners additional control and better visibility into their end users via the company’s partner program.

This program enables nGenx partners to:
- Create the product offering.
- Set the price point.
- Manage customer care and billing.
NGenx will continue to push the envelope with technology going forward, too. Helms said nGenx currently is in the process of expanding to multiple data centers to take advantage of geo-locating data closer to its global customers.
NGenx will keep providing its customers and partners with application virtualization, automation and deployment management expertise as well, Helms said, to challenge traditional technology practices and take the lead in the cloud workspace market.
