Firm Launches Full RMM For Mobile Devices

Software developer Pulseway today announced the release of a remote monitoring and management (RMM) solution specifically designed for managed services providers (MSPs).

Pulseway MSP enables unprecedented remote management of IT environments from smartphones, tablets or even wearables.

The cloud-first, mobile-first application is available for $2.40 per server, per month, with no contract or setup fees.

“While I was satisfied with the notifications sent to my mobile phone using other solutions, the features Pulseway MSP provides blew me away,” said Brian Heersink, systems administrator at CareTech Solutions, an MSP.

“It didn’t only monitor server uptime, but provided a plethora of statistics and actionable items,” he said. “Within minutes, I went from not only finding out about systems issues, but I also had the ability to fix those issues on-the-go from my smartphone."

Pulseway founder and CEO Marius Mihalec said the app was created with the growing trend of mobile-first MSPs in mind.

“Pulseway is revolutionizing systems management the way smartphones did for email,” he said. “For the first time, MSPs managing client IT systems can literally do their job from the palm of their hand, get all systems data with just a few clicks on their phone, and take corrective action immediately from wherever they are.”

Other features include:

  • Advanced IT automation allows for remote automation of maintenance tasks, backup jobs, security checks and other functions.

  • Reports and white labeling lets MSPs produce system reports that can be customized and emblazoned – along with the entire solution – with customer branding.

  • Collaborative environment means team members and clients can share systems management information via a user-friendly interface.

  • Integration with business management software enables seamless remote interoperability with Pulseway’s professional services automation solution.

The San Jose, Calif.-based developer’s products are in use by more than 3,000 businesses worldwide, including DELL, Louis Vuitton, Canon and Siemens, firm officials said.

“As an MSP serving clients across a wide geography, I need to be able to do everything remotely that I could do from my desk,” said Chris Martinez, founder of Integrated IT Solutions. “The new automation in Pulseway MSP lets me do just that.”

“I’ve resolved issues while out of the office just using my iPhone,” he continued. “Servicing our clients with this tool decreases response time, which makes us look like IT heroes.”
