ConnectWise’s IT Nation Connect 2019 conference is just around the corner, coming at us Oct. 30-Nov. 1, at the Hyatt Regency in Orlando. A big draw for those who sell, support and service technology, the conference this year boasts a new main stage keynote time, new launch sessions for content tracks, exciting onsite and offsite events, and more.

The three-day event is aimed at the business owner who is keen to grow a strong company and achieve long-term success. There will be in-depth breakout sessions with experts on the latest industry trends, as well as discussions surrounding hot topics such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A), security, and scalability.

“This year’s IT Nation Connect promises to be one of the best yet, with some exciting changes from past events that I think attendees will appreciate,” said CEO Jason Magee in a press release about the event. “At the same time, we plan to continue focusing on what has made Connect a ‘must-attend event’ for service providers, and that is providing the best thought leadership, content and speakers in the industry. And, continuing our commitment to last year, Connect remaining open to everyone — including our competitors.”

There are a few things to note about this year’s Connect conference. The ConnectWise keynote will take place on Wednesday evening instead of Thursday morning as it has in past years, during which Magee and other members of the executive team will give an overview of the conference and deliver a series of significant announcements from the main stage.

For those who have heard of a little thing called the MSP 501 list, new this year is the bestowing of the first ever ConnectWise MSP 501 Partner of the Year award. Sixty-seven percent of the 2019 MSP 501 list reported using a ConnectWise product, so ConnectWise is partnering with Channel Futures to announce which of the 338 partners on the annual MSP 501 list will be given this prestigious award. During IT Nation Connect, Jason Magee and Kris Blackmon, senior editor for the MSP 501 and content director for Channel Futures, will make this announcement from the main stage.

The conference will also feature new launch sessions for each of the six specialized content tracks. The sessions are designed to help attendees make the most of their investment in the conference, providing aid in planning which sessions to attend within the specialized content track of choice and tips on how to insert key conference learnings and takeaways into their businesses.

Last but not least, the offsite party is sure to be magical this year, taking place on Friday night instead of Thursday night at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Members of the IT Nation will have exclusive access to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade; Skull Island: Reign of Kong; and Jurassic Park.
