Report: MobileIron Records 123,678% Cumulative Growth
A new technology list suggests that MobileIron (MOBL) is growing faster than any other North American technology company.
The Mountain View, California-based enterprise mobility management (EMM) solutions provider this week snagged the top spot on Deloitte‘s 2014 Technology Fast 500 list, which ranks the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America.
According to the list, MobileIron’s revenue grew faster than any other North American technology company between 2009 and 2013, Deloitte said, and the EMM solutions provider reported 123,678 percent cumulative growth during that time frame.
Bob Tinker, MobileIron’s CEO, added that he believes his company has differentiated itself in the EMM solutions market, which has helped it grow quickly.
“As enterprise computing shifts from the PC to mobile, we have the rare opportunity to provide the technology foundation for a huge market with no incumbent,” he said in a prepared statement.
MobileIron surpasses 7,500 cumulative customers since 2009
MobileIron recorded $34.9 million in generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) revenue in the third quarter of 2014 and surpassed 7,500 cumulative customers who have purchased its EMM platform since 2009.
“It was a record quarter on a number of fronts,” Tinker said in a prepared statement. “We had a record number of new licenses sold; a record number of large deals; a record number of cloud customers and a record quarter in Germany. We thank our global customers for their business and we continue to invest in our best-of-breed platform.”
The future looks bright for MobileIron too. Tinker earlier this year told MSPmentor that MobileIron’s global channel includes more than 300 reseller and carrier partners, and the EMM solutions provider also made a strong NASDAQ debut in June.
MobileIron is predicting its GAAP revenue will fall between $35 million and $36 million in the final quarter of 2014.
