In the report, Predicts 2013: Businesses Will Take Consumer Apps to the Next Level, the research firm highlighted the key predictions for consumer apps in 2013 and beyond. MDM vendors may find significant security issues with the integration of payment into branded mobile apps. For instance: will the addition of payment options make these apps more likely to land on app blacklists ?
Most likely not, but it raises an interesting concern for managed services providers (MSPs). An increase in payment integration for branded mobile apps may become a security concern for providers.
