Verizon Wireless says it’s made it easy for businesses to manage and track their data usage.

One tool includes a data-usage calculator for businesses to get a sense of the quantity they might use under various scenarios, such as for a realtor planning for an improvement in the housing market.

The mobile-phone giant also says it has a data-usage widget that is available on most Android smartphones to help businesses stay within their budget by enabling them to connect to their My Verizon Mobile account. Business customers also can dial #DATA from Verizon Wireless smartphones to obtain a free text message with info on their usage, the company said.
