ThinkingPhones has added a video conferencing company to its portfolio. 

The unified communications-as-a-service (UCaaS) provider has acquired Fuze for an undisclosed sum. 

So what does the Fuze acquisition mean for ThinkingPhones? The company said the Fuze addition will allow it to “[expand] its platform to enable the modern, mobile workforce to conduct business anytime, anywhere.”

“The acquisition of Fuze marks an important investment in our vision for unifying communication in the enterprise, as well as in the success of our customers who have come to expect unparalleled user experiences that drive engagement,” ThinkingPhones CEO Steve Kokinos said in a prepared statement. “These same customers need to have the ability to communicate seamlessly from any device or location, with reliable quality every time.”

ThinkingPhones also noted that it plans to deliver a “fully integrated product experience” that features Fuze’s video conferencing tools next year. 

Fuze represents one of several acquisitions for ThinkingPhones over the past year that could help ThinkingPhones extend its UCaaS market reach.

ThinkingPhones previously acquired Android call management app provider  Contactive in February and managed service provider (MSP) Whaleback in Aug. 2014.
