Switch Communications Launches Cloud-Based Phone System for Office 365
The Switch Communications business phone system is now fully integrated with Microsoft Office 365.
Switch Communications has launched a cloud-based phone system to help Office 365 users “accelerate their productivity.”
The new release, Switch for Office 365, gives users additional control over how and where they use their business line, according to Switch Communications.
Office 365 users can log in with their Microsoft credentials, Switch Communications said, and have their Outlook contacts instantly synced.
In addition, Switch Communications said Office 365 users can integrate their calendars and emails so they can see their shared emails and appointments when on a Switch call.
“We understand the value of mobility and giving people control over the tools they need to be productive, and Switch is designed with them in mind,” Switch Communications CEO Craig Walker said in a prepared statement.
Office 365 has become increasingly popular among organizations across the globe, which is reflected in recent data.
For example, Skyhigh Networks‘ “Office 365 Cloud Adoption and Risk Report,” released in July, revealed 87.3 percent of organizations with at least 100 employees have adopted Microsoft cloud-based services.
The report also showed an average organization uploads 1.37TB of data to Office 365 each month.
