Pronto, BelAir Partner
Pronto Networks, an OSS provider for Wi-Fi networks, and BelAir Networks at WiFi/VoWiFi Planet announced a partnership that helps providers launch large-scale wireless networks. The companies first joint deployment covers the downtown/Alamo Plaza area of San Antonio, Texas.
The service combines the BelAir100 and BelAir200 Multi-service Switch Routers with the Pronto OSS. Pronto and BelAir also get their sales and marketing teams together to work on channel programs, cross training, joint marketing and sales, and customer opportunities.

With the help of local providers, Pronto and BelAir deployed a wireless hot zone that spans several blocks of shops, restaurants and businesses in the Alamo Plaza, across the street from the Alamo. The installation so far includes four BelAir100 and one BelAir200 Wireless Multi-service Nodes mounted on buildings in the downtown area.
Prontos OSS monitors system availability and performance, provides customer care, billing, and reporting, and more.
