Mitel Networks (MNW) has doubled in size over the past 18 months and has unveiled new branding to reflect its growth.

The Ottawa, Ontario-based business communications and collaboration provider said the new branding reinforces the company’s promise “to power the success of every customer, every communication, every time.”

“Mitel has undergone a massive transformation,” Mitel CEO Rich McBee said in a prepared statement. “The new Mitel is a company on the move, and the rebranding is another major milestone on our journey.”

Mitel said it expects to grow over the next 18 months as well.

“Over the next 18 months, we are focused on further momentum and growth. Cloud communications continue to be a strategic area of focus, and we offer the best path to the cloud. We are helping customers migrate at their pace to private, public and hybrid cloud communications,” a Mitel spokesperson told Talkin’ Cloud. “The contact center is another growth area for Mitel. You’ll see more momentum here over the next 18 months, and we’ll continue to grow globally.”

Mitel is focused on its customers

Mitel recorded $288.7 million in revenue in the second quarter of this year, up from $146.6 million in the second quarter of 2013.

It also acquired four businesses over the past year, including communications network systems provider Aastra Technologies in January.

Mitel attributes much of its success to working with customers.

”We have strongly aligned our business to our customers, putting them at the center of everything we do,” a Mitel spokesperson said. “User experience is also important to our brand promise, and we are working to ensure that we provide the solutions and services that help our customers succeed.”

Mitel provides business communications solutions and services to more than 60 million users worldwide, and the rebranding represents “a new beginning” for the company.

“We have emerged as a leader in business communications, but we are not done yet,” a Mitel spokesperson added. “Keep your eyes open.”
