Former AT&T Exec Joins MDM Solutions Provider
OpenPeak, Inc. this week tapped a former AT&T (T) executive as the company’s new president, a newly created role in the company.
The enterprise mobile device and application management provider hired Christopher K. Hill, who previously served as senior vice president, advanced solutions, for AT&T Business, to execute OpenPeak’s vision.
OpenPeak also said Hill will “oversee product and operational excellence,” and be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new global business development opportunities.
Hill has held various executive roles in building and deploying the AT&T’s business and enterprise mobility solutions.
As vice president of B2B Strategy and Operations at AT&T Wireless, he was responsible for enterprise mobility sales strategy and operations.
He moved on to serve as vice president for AT&T’s Government, Education and Medical Segments, and later as vice president for Mobility Product Management, where he oversaw machine to machine (M2M), fixed mobile convergence (FMC), small business solutions and international managed services.
“I’ve been incredibly impressed by OpenPeak’s groundbreaking technology, the only solution in the world that has integrated a secure workspace with mobile network capabilities in powerful new ways,” Hill said in a prepared statement.
OpenPeak provides an enterprise mobility management (EMM) platform that integrates with several carrier cloud-hosted services. The company’s product is offered under the brand names of its mobility partners.
