Alcatel Shows 9500 MXC for First Time
Alcatel is showing its newest product, for the first time, at CTIA in Las Vegas.
The Alcatel 9500 Microwave Cross Connect (MXC) requires no external peripherals and offers a flexible architecture for transporting IP and TDM services. It is best for mobile applications, since it features one indoor/outdoor platform that links cell sites to the core network for mobile 2G/3G and WiMAX. The platform also allows private operators to get higher bandwidth at lower cost.
