SOTI MobiControl Adds Amey Plc to its Customer Base

In recent months  SOTI Inc. has announced a number of new customers for its mobile device management (MDM) solution MobiControl. Now the company has added another to that list, integrated public services provider Amey Plc. Here are the details.

Amey said SOTI MobiControl stood out because of its ability to remotely diagnose and resolve mobile device issues for users in the field. By assisting mobile workers remotely, the company hopes to provide  better services to public and private sector clients without having to experience periods of downtime.

In addition to resolving mobile problems in the field, Amey cited MobiControl's silent installation technology. With this technology, a company can remotely install new applications and software updates for devices in the field. MobiControl's Advanced Security Center will also assist Amey with keeping confidential corporate data safe and secure.

In the beginning of this month, MSPmentor reported that May Gurney, a public infrastructure support services company in the UK, selected SOTI Inc.’s MobiControl to manage and support the company’s Motorola MC75 devices, as well as employee-owned devices. At the end of August, Sensormatic de Venezuela — provider of electronic security solutions for retail businesses in Venezuela — also chose the same solution to manage and support its mobile devices. Finally, in the beginning of August, JJ Food Service Limited — a food, drink and packaging distribution company in the United Kingdom — selected MobiControl to increase the productivity and efficiency of its mobile fleet across the UK.
