Bradford Networks Network Sentry Wins Healthcare Accounts

More than 30 healthcare organizations have implemented Bradford Networks's Network Sentry solution to assist with security issues originating from the Bring Your Own Devices (BYOD) trend. According to Braford, the organizations selected the solution for its ability to protect sensitive data, while delivering quality patient care and complying with industry regulations such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and HITECH (Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health).

Bradford's Network Sentry NAC solution provides organizations with the ability to automatically identify and profile all devices, as well as all users on a network. With a new set of challenges for managing and securing information -- including the protection of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) -- health organizations can benefit from the company's solution.

The company's healthcare customers includes the following:

  • Columbia University Medical Center
  • Methodist Health System
  • Norwalk Hospital
  • Sarasota Memorial Health Care System (SMH)
  • Susquehanna Health
  • Union Hospital Health Group
The Braford platform features an app that enables secure network access for trusted iPads, iPhones and other Apple devices, and can differentiate between corporate and personal assets. The capability to locate and track IP-enabled medical devices is also available.

Bradford Networks provides network and device security solutions for companies that allow BYOD. For more information on Bradford Networks' partner programs, please visit their website here.
