“IT service providers are increasingly being asked to expand their customer operational capabilities to serve businesses in new ways. The acquisition of Sea-Level Operations will enable us to expand the management and education opportunities to deliver courses from business fundamentals to technical training and provide the supporting data and personalized coaching to drive key decision-making,” said Heddy. “As IT spending continues to accelerate in both traditional and nontraditional categories, we can strategically help our partners build an understanding of the tech stack while deepening their knowledge across solutions and transforming their businesses.”

Pax8 says look no further than Sea-Level’s net promoter score (95) to measure its success. Sea-Level claims to have a history of putting its partners on the “fast track” to achieving business and financial maturity.

“Pax8 is exemplifying their commitment and investment in IT service providers through this acquisition,” said Frank. “We are excited to join forces with Pax8 to expand our reach and impact into the channel ecosystem and continue to develop more high-performing businesses.”

Specifically, as a result of the acquisition, Pax8 says its partners get access to premium coaching; advanced development programs; a content library of great curricula; actionable benchmarking and ways to measure success; and new business transformation opportunities.

It’s been a busy year for Pax8, which started 2021 by acquiring U.K.-based Wirehive. With the tie-up, Pax8 aims to give partners in both North America and the U.K. more cloud capabilities. More importantly, Pax8 expands its presence in the U.K., naming Wirehive’s Robert Belgrave to lead the new Pax8 UK.

Just a day later, the cloud distributor announced $96 million in new equity capital.
