Park Place Technologies will do more for and with its partners via its latest acquisition from CentricsIT, an IT services provider based in Atlanta, Georgia. It acquired the company’s professional services and third-party maintenance (TPM) assets.

This is the company’s (No. 226 on the 2022 MSP 501) fourth acquisition this year and its third consecutive acquisition in the Greater Atlanta Region. Park Place Technologies didn’t disclose financial details of the acquisition.

Park Place Technologies’ professional services offering will include greater capabilities in install, move, add and change (IMAC) services, IT asset disposition (ITAD), remote hands and deployment services. Those include cabling, Wi-Fi surveys, data center installs and refreshes, and network installations.

Kelly Greene is Park Place Technologies’ vice president of corporate development. She said the timing of this acquisition was prompted by an intensifying global demand for professional services. That’s being driven by economic conditions and a highly apparent IT skills gap.

“Park Place Technologies has maintained an aggressive acquisition strategy over the past six years, with this latest CentricsIT purchase marking the company’s 22nd acquisition since 2016,” she said. “Definitely expect to see more from us on the M&A front in 2023.”

Park Place Technologies Gains New Partners

CentricsIT is a channel-focused organization, Greene said.

“And folding them into Park Place will provide us with new and robust established partner relationships,” she said.

The acquisition allows Park Place Technologies to do more for and with its partners than ever before, Green said.

“Those partners that are already taking advantage of Park Place’s expanded data center portfolio will now find even more reasons to do so,” she said.

Park Place Technologies continues to optimize its data center experience for its partners and their clients, Greene said. Its goal is to create awareness around its portfolio enhancements within the partner community.

CentricsIT has been a global leader in IT lifecycle management solutions and professional services since 2007. As the company transitions its professional services and TPM divisions to Park Place Technologies, it will retain its server, storage and networking resale division.

CentricsIT brings to Park Place Technologies a stable TPM business, Greene said. It includes potential for growth and a mature professional services business.

“Combining their reputation with our own makes us that much stronger as a powerhouse provider for our partner community,” she said.

Park Place Technologies’ most recent acquisition was Riverstone Technology, a third-party maintenance and support provider based in Atlanta.
