MSP Nexus IT has merged with Salt Lake City-based IT services provider Intelitechs. The move adds to both companies’ IT services offerings and expands their leadership teams. The combined company will have an aggressive five-year growth strategy, officials said.

Earl Foote is the CEO and founder of Nexus IT. He will continue in his role, while Intelitechs’ co-founders Jake Hiller and Eric Sessions will join Foote as key executives.

Moving Locations

This fall, all members of Intelitechs will join the Nexus IT team, moving into the company’s newly expanded office space in downtown Salt Lake City.

“We’ve been peers of Nexus IT for many years and have always respected the incredible impact it has had on our industry and local business community,” said Hiller. “Given our own success in the market, we had no intention of shifting our business model but, once we sat down with Earl, we knew that this transition was a victory for everyone involved — the clients, the team and the evolving IT services space.”

Sessions added that Intelitechs is excited to bring its expertise to Nexus IT. The companies want to build something that’s first of its kind for clients.

The companies will not interrupt client services for both entities during this transition. However, the merger will allow the combined company to prioritize enhanced, streamlined client success communications and processes. It will provide customized support for each client’s specific needs, the executives said.
