NetGain Technologies, No. 407 on the 2021 Channel Futures MSP 501, is buying Florida-based IT managed services provider TruTechnology. This acquisition is NetGain’s first in Florida, expanding its footprint into a new southeastern state.

Back in February, NetGain acquired Arnet Technologies and LK TECH.

TruTechnology’s employees will remain with the company in their respective roles and will join the expanded team at NetGain Technologies.

“This is a major milestone for the organization,” said Tim Burke, CEO of NetGain Technologies. “We have been really disciplined as we’ve searched for our first partnership in the state of Florida. When I met Doug and heard more about TruTechnology, I was incredibly impressed with their commitment to excellent client service and their process-driven approach to IT. Doug and the entire team are going to make us a better company. I could not be more excited about the future we’ll build together.”

TruTechnology started out as a voice, data and video services integrator in 2002. It then became an early adopter of the flat-fee managed IT service model in 2005. Today, TruTechnology provides two major IT services. The first is modern, cloud-based IT focusing on mobility and security (TruCloud). The second is traditional infrastructure-based IT, creating a solid foundation (TruOffice). Both are major needs for small and medium-size businesses headquartered in North Florida.

“It was obvious in our early discussions with the NetGain Technologies team that they were genuinely interested in us continuing to do what we do best for our clients, staff and community, with the added benefit of their support,” said Doug Lowenthal, CEO of TruTechnology. “The more I learned about the NetGain family, the more I found our company cultures and core values were in complete alignment. Our employees and clients are what’s most important to us, which is why we chose to partner with a people-first, client-focused organization like NetGain Technologies. I’m excited for my team and myself as we work with NetGain to continue offering the best IT services to the businesses in our area.”

The NetGain-TruTechnology tie-up will offer additional resources and investments in marketing, sales, human relations and finance. NetGain Technologies plans to pursue further acquisition opportunities.
