IT services company Opti9 Technologies is starting the new year as a managed hybrid cloud solutions provider. A strategic merger between New York-based Webair, a provider of infrastructure and cloud services, and Jelecos, a Nebraska-based AWS Advanced Consulting Partner and application development firm, formed Opti9.

Opti9 has offices throughout the Midwest. Its data centers are in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. The company is an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner and Veeam Platinum VCSP.

The combination of Webair and Jelecos positions Opti9 as a service provider able to manage and secure hybrid cloud workloads. The company said it can deliver solutions based on customers’ unique business needs.

Strategic Investment

Crest Rock Partners made a strategic growth investment in both Webair and Jelecos. The investment by Crest Rock continues to accelerate strategic initiatives and growth opportunities for Opti9, according to the company.

Webair, based in Garden City, New York, has data centers around the globe. It has more than 20 years of experience as an IT service provider. Webair specializes in private cloud and IT resilience solutions. It brings talent and experience focused in the areas of managed cloud, backup and disaster recovery.

Omaha-based Jelecos has additional offices in Overland Park, Kansas, and St. Louis. The company has more than 20 years of experience as an IT consulting firm. It is an AWS Advanced Consulting partner that focuses on public cloud solutions with expertise in digital transformations, application modernization and management of AWS workloads.
