Two U.K.-based VoIP services providers are coming together.

Invosys Limited announced last week that it is buying Atrium Telecom. Invosys, which builds unified communications platforms, will harness Atrium’s installation and maintenance capabilities.

Invosys executives said in an announcement that the transaction “will enhance our product suite, tech capability and customer offering.” Atrium will complement the Invosys offering with new support resources for partners. The companies also share several customers. In addition, both firms hail from Greater Manchester county in England.

“This is a huge step forward, taking us to yet another level, and a fantastic deal for all involved, but especially to our people and customers who will benefit greatly from further investment in the business,” said Peter Crooks, chief operating officer of Invosys.

VoIP Support Expertise

Atrium boasts deep experience in delivering solutions from Avaya and Panasonic. The company’s white label solution allows partners to sell Avaya SMB and Panasonic unified communications solutions with “full U.K. mainland coverage and technical support.” The company helps resellers make up for gaps in their engineering and support expertise. Atrium’s professional services help VARs focus on selling.

The companies did not disclose the financial terms of the agreement.

Invosys, not to be confused with the Indian IT provider Infosys, came into being in 2006, just a year before Atrium.

Invosys announced earlier this year that it has fully integrated Juniper Bridge, a technology support company that it acquired in 2018, into the company.
