Ingram Micro is expanding its portfolio of IT services in Europe with the acquisition of Netherlands-based Ictivity.

Ictivity has 22 years of experience in managed services, workplace automation, IT adoption and IT infrastructure. It doesn’t design IT environments from a technical viewpoint, but focuses on the processes of an organization and the tasks of an employee.

Ictivity focuses on midsize organizations, with more than 100 workplaces in health care, government and commerce. It employs more than 150 employees from offices in Eindhoven and Vianen.

Mark Snider, Ingram Micro‘s executive vice president and group president of EMEA, tells us with the acquisition of Ictivity, Ingram Micro Europe adds more consultancy, professional services and managed services to its growing portfolio. Examples include vulnerability scanner (internal/external), hacker alert, security dashboard, phishing-as-a-service and IT security quick scan, he said.

Ictivity also is certified for the following technology and platform partners: Aruba HPE, Citrix, Fortinet, F-Secure, Guardian360, Ivanti (RES Software), Microsoft, Azure and Office 365, Uniserver, Veeam and VMware, he said.

“By adding these services we have another unique offering for our resellers,” Snider said. “Only Ingram Micro can help them deliver an end-to-end solution for their customers.”

Ictivity has channel partners, and those partners now are also Ingram Micro partners so “there are synergies to gain,” he said.
