Bridgepointe’s Kelly O’Neil

Kelly O’Neil, who has been contracting with Bridgepointe for multiple years, accepted the investment from California-based Bridgepointe. Bridgepointe has announced a series of deals with high-performing IT strategists in its partner base to further incentivize them. The company’s private equity investment from Charlesbank Capital Partners, announced in January, has fueled the deals.

O’Neil said she will grow her enterprise customer base as a result of the investment.

“Bridgepointe has offered an unparalleled level of support every step of the way on my journey,” O’Neil said. “In this new relationship with Bridgepointe, I look forward to continuing to grow as they focus on building out a world-class team and tools and become the nation’s leading IT strategy firm.”

O’Neil has been working with Bridgepointe since 2016. O’Neil worked seven years at XO Communications. Her job titles included senior major account manager. She performed similar roles at Time Warner Telecom, Cogent Communications and Allegiance Telecom.

“Since joining us over five years ago, Kelly has quickly established herself as a trusted strategist for her clients,” Bridgepointe co-founder Brian Miller said. “We’re pleased to have her join as a partner as we actively work to expand our footprint across the country. Bridgepointe is deeply committed to the success of all of our strategists as evidenced by each one of these investments.”

Cloud Expertise

O’Neil said she has a unique focus on hybrid architecture and cloud enablement. For example, she supports clients on AWS Direct Connect cloud service. Many of her customers also use AWS Cost Optimization services.

“I am working toward expanding my business to further support AWS and their ever-evolving technology and product offerings,” O’Neil told Channel Futures.

Other New Partners

Bridgepointe last month announced that it had given partner status to Cody McCormick. The IT strategist had aligned with Bridgepointe since 2012.

“Bridgepointe has consistently provided the IT strategy and support required for me to succeed, and this is the next evolution of that work together,” McCormick, who founded IT Partner Holdings. “As a Partner, I’ll be able to continue to grow my client base while actively sharing in Bridgepointe’s success.”

McCormick worked as a sales manager at Bloomberg before joining the technology advisory channel.

Bridgepointe point also made an equity investment in Mick Nee and Nick Joshi’s agency.
