TBI’s Anne Devine

Anne Devine is the master agent’s new vice president of marketing. She was VP of vendor relations at Tech Data, where she spent more than seven years. Also new to TBI leadership is Brandon Smith, vice president of global sales. He previously was senior VP of national sales at Intelisys, with the rival master agent for nearly nine years. Last but not least is Jim Wolande,  vice president of corporate resellers and VARs. He was national channel director at 8×8 and has a long history with TBI.

New Responsibilities

During her time with Tech Data, Devine built go-to-market strategies for the technology distributor and its leading technology vendors. With TBI, she will focus on strengthening the company’s brand, increasing pipeline and market share, and optimizing marketing programs and processes.

“I am thrilled to be at TBI,” she said. “The talent and the culture here are amazing, and there is an incredible amount of opportunity for growth in the coming year.”

Smith will oversee all sales strategy and partner growth initiatives for TBI’s global market, covering North America and EMEA.

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in March.

“Joining the most tenured technology distributor in the channel, I am looking forward to using my 22 years in the industry to add value to the TBI organization, and more importantly to the partner community,” he said.

Wolande will lead TBI’s VAR strategy, developing growth of next-generation offerings around cloud, data centers, security, IoT, 5G and edge. He will deliver programs for VARs and MSPs. While at 8×8, he was instrumental in significant deals with TBI and strategic selling partners.

“This organization is about to change the game for the partner community around emerging markets,” he said. “And I am honored to leverage my experience during this perfect storm with master agent TBI.”

Mike Onystok is TBI‘s senior vice president of operations.

“We’ve already seen noticeable improvements with Devine, Smith and Wolande on board, even in areas where we’ve historically shown strengths,” he said. “TBI is gearing up to be the best technology service distributor in the industry and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for our partners.”
