Avant Communications just signed the multicloud networking provider Pureport to a supplier agreement.

The partnership gives Avant subagents “scalable, secure cloud connections on demand to customer premises and data centers.” Pureport in turn boosts its sales reach by harnessing Avant’s large partner network.

Pureport’s Rich Lee

“The traditional way for enterprises to provision cloud connections takes weeks and is often cost prohibitive for many companies,” Pureport CEO Rich Lee said. “This partnership with Avant allows the trusted-adviser community to offer innovative, cutting-edge cloud connectivity, at a fraction of the cost of a traditional telecommunications solution.”

Pureport’s Multicloud Fabric platform helps customers set up a WAN via public cloud providers like AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. Customers use the self-service console and don’t need to wait for traditional circuit deployments or deploy new physical infrastructure.

Avant’s Drew Lydecker

“Our trusted advisers work with enterprises that need to quickly and affordably spin up multicloud or hybrid cloud networks. They need bandwidth that matches their varying needs in order to move data between clouds and add additional sites to the network on demand,” Avant president Drew Lydecker said. “This type of cloud-like network didn’t exist until Pureport created it. We’re excited our trusted advisers can now offer a solution with the agility and control that enterprises need to be truly agile and innovative in this rapidly evolving IT landscape.”

Pureport is only a year old and based in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Avant earlier this month announced a partnership with ISG to add network design services to its portfolio. Another new supplier partner is hosted PBX provider Momentum Telecom.

The master agent recently landed in Masergy’s platinum partner list for a consecutive year.
