My Digital Shield Taps Rick Green as Channel Chief

Enterprise security solution provider My Digital Shield has appointed industry veteran Rick Green executive vice president of Channel Sales. In his new role as channel chief, Green will be responsible for growing the company’s influence among channel partners and driving partner productivity and profitability.

“My Digital Shield offers a unique product to an underserved market at a highly competitive price point,” said Green in a statement. “I look forward to applying my experience to expand MDS’ partner community and ensure that the channel is empowered to serve the growing cyber security needs of the small business owner.”

Green is a 30-year veteran in the networking industry, with leadership experience spanning companies including Nortel Networks and General Electric, according to the announcement. He also held several executive leadership positions with VARs, including Solunet and Vigilar. Prior to his appointment at My Digital Shield, Green served as vice president of Sales at VoIP reseller Voice Carrier.
