Juniper Systems Appoints New CEO
Handheld computer manufacturer Juniper Systems announced that current Vice President of Sales and Marketing DeVon Labrum will lead the company following the departure of President and CEO Rob Campbell.
Handheld computer manufacturer Juniper Systems announced that current Vice President of Sales and Marketing DeVon Labrum will lead the company following the departure of President and CEO Rob Campbell.
Campbell, who has led the Logan, Utah-based company for 14 years, announced he would step down from his role after accepting a position as president of Campbell Scientific, Juniper Systems’ parent company. Labrum is scheduled to assume his new role as of Sept. 1.
“The decision to leave Juniper Systems and accept the role at Campbell Scientific was a difficult one,” said Campbell, in a statement. “Over my many years at Juniper, I’ve seen ups and downs, and each time, people have been able to band together and figure out a solution. I have no doubt that Juniper Systems will continue to grow and develop greatly after I leave.”
Campbell will retain a spot on the company’s board of directors following his departure.
Labrum has worked for Juniper Systems in various roles for nearly 18 years, and has has held his current position as vice president of Sales and Marketing for the past four. He plans to expand the company’s current product offerings and will place a renewed focus on customer service and overall quality in his new role, according to the announcement.

We’ve set our sights high, and I have only the best of hopes for Juniper Systems’ future.”
