Host Analytics Names New VP of Alliances

Cloud-based enterprise performance management vendor Host Analytics has named Andrew Ross as its new vice president of Alliances. Ross will work to expand Host Analytics' ecosystem of partners.

With more than a decade of experience in cloud computing and partnerships, including seven years at Salesforce.com where he held sales roles and helped the company grow from $5 million in annual revenue to nearly $500 million, Ross seems adept at forming partnerships. And that's where his value should truly shine in his new role at Host Analytics.

Prior to joining his new employer, Ross led alliances for the Cloud division of Informatica, where he and his team grew partner contributions to new business from less than 10 percent to more than 50 percent of sales, as the company developed partnerships with all sizes of systems integrators, international distributors and complementary technology providers.

"The cloud is the inevitable future of the EPM market," Ross said in a prepared statement. "Host Analytics presents a huge opportunity for partners who provide complementary services, technology and expertise. I'm excited to evolve the Host Analytics partner program to help our partners maximize their revenues while delivering success for our joint customers."

It seems like a good choice for Host Analytics, which provides cloud-based financial applications for planning, consolidation, reporting and analytics.

"Customer choice is a fundamental ingredient of long-term customer success and partners make that possible," said Gary Hanna, vice president of Sales at Host Analytics, in a prepared statement. "Andy's background in cloud computing and developing productive partnerships is a tremendous asset to us and our partners as we enable the large and growing movement of finance to the cloud."
