Globalscape (GSB) has named former COO Matt Goulet as president and CEO, responsible for expanding the company’s existing technology alliance partnerships as well as attracting new partners.

Globalscape Names Matt Goulet as President, CEO

Globalscape (GSB) has named former COO Matt Goulet as president and CEO, responsible for expanding the company’s existing technology alliance partnerships as well as attracting new partners.

“It is a privilege to be part of an organization that delivers high quality services and innovative software solutions to thousands of customers worldwide and develops the most talented professionals into leaders,” said Goulet. “I am incredibly proud of who we are, and I will do my best to serve the Company, our customers, business partners and investors.”

Goulet, whose appointment was approved by the company’s board of directors, will also serve on the board in addition to his current position. He replaced former President and CEO James Bindseil as of Monday.

Goulet joined Globalscape in 2013 after serving as vice president of SME Sales and Operations, North America at Kaspersky Lab for five years. Throughout his career he has also served in various executive level positions at companies including Avnet, Amherst Technologies and RAID Inc.

“We are excited about all that Matt will continue to bring to Globalscape and we would also like to thank James Bindseil for his contributions,” said Thomas W. Brown, chairman of the Board of Directors at Globalscape, in a statement. “The Board is confident that Matt’s diverse and broad experience across the security, networking and storage industries in sales, marketing and technology alliances, as well as his passion for leading high performing teams will propel Globalscape forward.”
