Friday's Last Word: Huddle CEO Morten Brøgger — Who exactly is he?

Newly appointed Huddle CEO Morten Brøgger already has a vision for taking the San Francisco-based enterprise content collaboration company to another level — grow its user base, expand into new territories and focus on selected verticals. Co-founder Alastair Mitchell stepped down from his role as CEO and jumped into his new role as president and CMO to focus on Huddle’s global brand and market impact.

Brøgger previously led Mach, a Luxembourg-based telecommunications firm, where he assisted with selling the company to Syniverse in 2013 — a deal worth $715 million. He also held several other leadership roles at Sunrise Switzerland, TDC Denmark and ATEA.

What are his plans for Huddle?

"Delivering accelerated growth in terms of more users, more customers in more geographies by being more relevant in our go to market capabilities towards selected verticals with great understanding of our customers most relevant use cases," he says. "In short, a crystal clear value proposition on why the customers need a secure collaboration solution (Huddle), why they need it now and not next year and why they need it from Huddle."
