Managed Services Industry Award Winners Named
The MSPAlliance announced this week the recipients of its Managed Services Industry Leadership Awards.
The winners were chosen based on their contributions in the managed services industry in the areas of Leadership, Green IT, Community Service and Innovation.
Lane Smith, president of Do IT Smarter, was given the Leadership Award. Smith, a board member of the MSPAlliance, has been instrumental in advocating managed services as a profession, upholding standards and working tirelessly to help MSPs achieve accreditation and certification.
The Green IT award was given to Anexio for its adoption of conservationist IT practices both internally and among its clients/partners. Anexio has been a strong proponent of the Green IT movement and the benefits it can provide to end-user businesses everywhere.
By showing a strong commitment to community service values, Innovation Networks is this year’s recipient of the Community Service Award.
Untangle Inc. demonstrated the use of technology for more effective IT management and is the recipient of the Technology Innovation award.
“The goal of the MSPAlliance has always been to do good and meaningful work for the managed services industry. In staying true to that belief, we felt that it was important not to rank members, but to recognize true thought-leaders in the managed services industry,” said Charles Weaver, President of MSPAlliance.“Recipients of this year’s award were chosen for the meaningful and remarkable contributions they made in the managed services industry.”
The MSPAlliance is the largest managed services association and accrediting body and has more than 8,000 member companies.
