LiveTime Integrates Help Desk With Google Docs

LiveTime Software is connecting the dots between help desk software, SaaS and Google Docs. Indeed, the company has introduced a single sign-on capability. The result: Customers can now integrate directly with Google Docs and maintain a single workflow from within LiveTime Service Manager or Novell Service Desk, LiveTime claims.

LikeTime specializes in IT service management (ITSM) software. The company's LiveTime Service Manager software is available on-premise or via SaaS. The company claims LiveTime Service Manager complies with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) V3, which is a set of best practices for IT service  management. Novell (recently acquired by Attachmate) provides LiveTime as part of it’s ZENworks product line.

So far, LiveTime seems to target enterprises rather than managed services providers. But several large service providers -- including Rackspace and Verizon -- are LiveTime customers.
