Though Seattle has a population about five times the size of neighboring city Bellevue, Wash., the latter is where a number of cloud companies, including Amazon, Alibaba, and BitTitan, have opened offices.

Now you can add Salesforce to that list. Recently, the CRM software giant announced its new Bellevue office, which will house one of the company’s largest Engineering & Innovation Hubs.

Salesforce plans to double its workforce in Bellevue to nearly 500 in the coming months, making it the largest tenant in the Nine Two Nine Office Tower building.

“We welcome Salesforce to our vibrant downtown,” Bellevue Mayor John Stokes said in a statement. “Salesforce’s expansion to Bellevue demonstrates that we are rapidly becoming a distinguished hub for technology and innovation in the Pacific Northwest with some of the technology industry’s most prominent leaders and companies calling Bellevue home.”
