It is now more evident than ever that companies embracing the shift to the cloud are paving a direct path to a successful future.

VMware CEO Pat Gelsinger often mentions that we are in an era of “Brave New IT.” This era is built upon bold actions and a deep trust that your vendor’s roadmap will guide and support your organization on this journey to the cloud. For those partners looking to make the shift to a cloud-based services model, it’s not an easy one. It takes time, affects people and processes, and will drive a shift in the economics of your business–though one that will ultimately drive big benefits for you and your customer engagement. Most importantly, it takes the partnership of a recognized and industry-leading cloud vendor.

At our first-ever Partner Exchange @ VMworld, VMware is offering a dedicated track for our Service Provider partners where we will expose our IT from our businesses. In addition to offering a cloud-focused track, there will also be deep Technical Sessions and a Sales and Business track articulating all of the content we offered to our field at Sales Kickoff, as we see our partners as an extension of our sales team.

Last February 2015 marked the end of another successful Partner Exchange in San Francisco. From this event and the feedback from you, our partners, we learned that we can create more enablement value by combining Partner Exchange and VMworld to offer one destination for technology enablement. This year, we are offing all the things our partners have come to love about both events, such as a Partner General Session to preview what customers are going to see during the VMworld week, Partner Route to Market keynotes, boot camps, enablement sessions, over 60 partner-dedicated breakout sessions, hands-on labs, a partner lounge, a welcome reception, and some exciting new opportunities for those partners attending VMworld with their customers.

In March of next year, we will host our first-ever, invite-only Partner Leadership Summit to engage our business audiences within our partner community. We will develop our business plans to ensure that you, our partners, get your fair share of the huge market opportunities VMware is pursuing.
