Conference Week Activities

Oracle OpenWorld takes place in San Francisco Oct. 25–29. To show our commitment to our partners, Oracle has dedicated Sunday, Oct. 25, to the Oracle PartnerNetwork community. On Sunday afternoon, partners can attend OPN General Sessions that will consist of three separate sessions catering specifically to SI, ISV and VAR audiences. On Sunday evening, the famed OPN AfterDark Reception is back and open to all partners with a conference badge; no separate registration is necessary.

The OPN Lounge will be open during conference week and home to the majority of OPN Central activities. Activities include OPN In Focus sessions, where partners can uncover the tools and resources needed to run a successful business. In addition, partners have a chance to delve into social media consultations at our Social Media Rally Station. This is an opportunity to discover your company’s “social clout” and determine ways to build a stronger online presence. Between your sessions and the conference hustle and bustle, relax in the OPN Lounge and network with members of the OPN Enablement team as well as your peers.

Also located in the OPN Lounge is the brand new ISV Cloud Bar–Ask the Experts! Have all of your technical questions answers and your cloud strategy evaluated by our panel of experts throughout the conference week. In addition to the OPN Lounge, Experts will be in Moscone West, the Marriott Marquis and the OPN AfterDark Reception.

Test Fest @ OPN Central is also back for the fifth year in a row and takes place at the Westin St. Francis Hotel. Partners are encouraged to register for an opportunity to earn their Certified Specialist accreditation through one of 10 session exams.
