Several thousand VARs and MSPs are set to attend Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC11) the week of July 10 in Los Angeles. No doubt, those VARs and MSPs need to closely manage their travel itineraries and expenses. Concur Communications Inc. hopes to help with that process. Indeed, the company is pairing its Concur Breeze travel expense solution for SMBs with TripIt Pro to create what Concur is calling an "integrated travel and expense management solution" for small businesses.
Concur acquired TripIt, a mobile travel organizing solution, in January 2010. TripIt lets users manage all of their air, hotel and dining reservations from more than 3,000 sites from a mobile device. Concur has matched TripIt Pro's itinerary-making capabilities with Concur Breeze's expense reporting solution to help organize travel accommodations for small businesses.
In a prepared statement, Elana Donio, executive VP and GM of Concur's SMB Division, said:
"For small businesses, the integration of Concur Breeze and TripIt Pro opens up an entirely new approach to managing T&E (travel and expenses)...users can automatically turn their various reservations from any travel vendor first into a single organized itinerary, then into an expense report."Concur Breeze for SMBs costs $8 per user each month. A separate platform, called Concur Premiere, starts at $10 per month for a company between 50-99 users generating a single expense report each month.
