SherWeb has rolled out a new email product suite this week to assist businesses looking to stay compliant with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and protect data.

The suite's three products are sold separately and include organization data leak prevention, end-to-end encryption and compliant archiving.

SherWeb said its new compliance products will also address the needs of companies want stronger protection against confidential data leaks.

SherWeb Hosted Exchange Product Manager Rima Hatoum said in a prepared statement that businesses in health, insurance and finance sectors are required by HIPAA to protect their data.

"But many other industries now also need tailored encryption and archiving solutions when it comes to electronic data," she said. "Our new products allow organizations of any size or in any field of activity to address all their security and control needs."

This new email suite is offered exclusively with SherWeb’s Hosted Exchange 2013 plan.
