SysAid Technologies CEO Sarah Lahav says the new data center will be "fully operational on December 15th."

IT Service Management (ITSM) software provider SysAid Technologies Ltd. will be leveraging Peer 1 Hosting technologies for its new cloud-based data center.

The new data center will be used to serve SysAid’s North American cloud customers, the company said.

SysAid Technologies CEO Sarah Lahav said the company "considered and even tested multiple service providers," but Peer 1 offered a private cloud, dedicated network and dedicated hardware solution.

"In addition, it was important for us to search for a provider that owns the network," she said. "With Peer 1's fast-fiber network, we know that every aspect of the network is owned and maintained by them."

When asked where SysAid would like to expand its customer base next, Lahav replied with one word — worldwide.

"Our cloud customer base expands both by new customers and existing on-premise customers that are migrating to the cloud," she said.

Lahav said the new data center will be "fully operational on December 15th."
