Cloud backup and disaster recovery (BDR) company Intronis unveiled a new team today to manage the success of its partners.

The Intronis Partner Success organization will be responsible for simplifying and accelerating the success of Intronis partners, the company said.

The formation of the new team is a “strategic move for Intronis and a significant gain” for channel partners, Intronis CEO Rick Faulk said in a prepared statement.

Intronis hired Jasmine Lombardi as the company’s vice president of partner success to lead the new team. She will report directly to Faulk.

Before joining Intronis, Lombardi led the product operations team at Aspen Technology. She also held senior client services and technology roles at Mzinga, Prospero Technologies and PAREXEL International. Her background ranges from execution of software as a service (SaaS) licensing models to global process management.

“Backup and recovery has become a big business opportunity for the IT channel and Intronis’ new Partner Success organization will certainly be a game-changer for our partners,” Lombardi said in a prepared statement.

A source with inside knowledge of the company’s hiring process told Talkin’ Cloud that partners should expect additional hires to the Intronis team across the board in the upcoming couple of weeks.
